I’ve never been a makeup girl — ironic, considering the amount of makeup sitting in our studio. I never set out to become a makeup artist. I grew up happily barefaced; makeup was something I did only when I wanted to, not something I relied on.
But I was always decent at it. On days I wanted to look put together, I knew how to use the items in my minimalist collection, and sometimes I even did makeup for friends or taught them how to.
Being a colour analyst gave me an intuitive advantage and through my work, I’ve applied makeup on countless faces — not because I called myself an MUA, but simply because I was good at it and people trusted me. Even today, leaving the house barefaced is still my default most days.
My journey with makeup started when I realised how few classes actually teach true beginners. Knowing the “best technique” doesn’t always mean it’s the best method for someone’s lifestyle or habits.
Fast forward 1.5 years, and everything changed after I watched the show Just Makeup. Suddenly, makeup wasn’t just makeup. It reminded me of colour analysis — on its own, it isn’t impressive. But when you see it as art, as design, as architecture on the human face… that’s where the magic happens.
Today, I’m excited to keep learning from artists all over the world, continue painting and designing faces, and teaching people how to understand their own.

I’m not a fan of trends — I believe in doing what makes you the prettiest, and what truly suits your face and skin.

I even brought the whole team to her — and they all said the same thing: you can feel her passion just from the way she works, even from her eyes!
